I painted this artwork in 2021 - with Koa (2.5) by my side and Silas growing peacefully within my womb. A time of self care, healing, a lot of art, growth and expansion.

I will always hold this painting close to my heart.

During the time of my life that this artwork was born, I dove deep into what setting healthy boundaries meant to me, and what changes needed to be made in order to set them. It was a time where I truly found my strength and confidence as an artist - an artist making a living for my growing family, through creating and sharing my art.

Throughout my pregnancy I spent many hours painting and creating with so much passion and excitement. This artwork is a representation of the balance which is ever present in every experience - the joy & sadness, the empowerment & disappointment - the Yin & Yang of life.

It is a joy to share this painting and its story with you all.
